Goal of the month

100k hands @3BB/100.

September 08 result

I'll kick things off with a couple of screenshots of my HEM results page and graph in September.

I played only about 40k hands in the month of September. I was clearing bonus on Eurolinx for the whole month. It was a $1k bonus and I also made about $500 in rakeback. I just couldn't get more hands in because of the traffic of the site. I was able to play on average about 5 tables at a time. I made over $3k in the month of September and overall I guess I can't complain too much about the result. I can easily at least double the hands played on Pokerstars now though.

October results coming soon, as soon as the month is over.

My plan for this blog.

I'm gonna be posting my daily results as often as I can and maybe a few hands where I played good or bad. Some funny hands if I see them too.

I'm playing nl50 on Pokerstars now. My goal is to hit nl100 by the end of the year and hopefully start making more money after that. I'm beating the game at nl50 over a pretty good sample but I know that I have a lot of leaks in my game that needs to be plugged.

I will also post anything that I deem worthy of showing up on this page. Stuff that happens in my normal day to day life. Trip reports, pictures, videos, stories etc. This will hopefully serve as a way for my friends in the US to keep in touch with me as well.

My first post.

This is gonna be my blog to keep track of my progress. We'll see how this goes.

The main point of having this blog is to put my results out there to the world to see. I think I will be more committed to this poker thing if I have to do this everyday. Hopefully I will see the result I want from this. I don't care if no one reads this blog. I just want to have a certain level of accountability to myself and myself only.

I think by nature poker players are lazy. That's why we play poker instead of getting a job. We like the idea of being our own boss, 'work' at any time we want, wherever we want. However, it's easy to slack off and not do as much or as good as you're capable of once you see a little bit of results. I'd be the first one to admit to you that I'm probably the laziest person I know. This blog will hopefully change my mindset and give me the drive to do better. We'll see!
